 Prompt response: There have been many times when learning a new word has assisted me in everyday life, for example, analyzing the poetry last week. I didn't know what certain words meant, but after looking them up, I was able to understand the poem much more effectively.

Summary: Today in class, we worked on our vocabulary words by completing a vocabulary sheet in which we had to assign each vocabulary word to a sentence.

Reflection: I did not know many of the vocabulary words we learned, such as lugubrious.
